Sun on the moors, queues at the cake stall and a tombola that nearly ran dry — our Spring Fair recap, by the numbers.
What a day. The April sun actually behaved, the moors glowed, and just over 400 of you came through the doors for Spring Fair 2026.
By the numbers
- £1,830 raised for the hall's maintenance fund
- 23 stalls, from local honey to hand-thrown pottery
- 212 cups of tea out of the kitchen (a new record)
- 1 tombola stripped almost bare by 2pm
- 0 rainclouds — a Haworth first
Thank yous
To the 14th Keighley (Haworth) Scouts for running the games yard, The Haworth Band quintet for playing the afternoon in, and the Magic Garden Play Cafe crew for keeping the youngest visitors happy and the floor surprisingly clean.
Most of all: thank you to the volunteers who set up at 7am and swept up at 6pm. The hall runs on you.
Missed it? The 1940s Summer Dance is next — and tickets are already moving. See you on the dance floor.
